I’m Jess, I’m a Registered Dietitian and mum to my tiny 1 year old sidekick – Amelie. We’re currently living by the sea in Brighton, UK.
I’ve worked in the NHS and in public health with schools and families and most recently set up my own private practice.
Since becoming pregnant, my mind’s mostly been on mother and baby nutrition – it’s been fascinating to put what I know into practice but I’ve also been a bit dismayed at how much misinformation and confusing nutrition information there is out there for parents.
There’s no denying that raising kids can have its stressful moments – and those 3am Googles about what you ‘should’ be eating might not always put your mind at ease.
Trust me, I’ve been there too, so I wanted to create a space where I can share lots of family-friendly, veg-forward meals and some simple nutrition tips for all stages of motherhood.
It’s a massive cliché for a dietitian but of course I’m obsessed with cooking and all things food. I’m looking forward to sharing tried and tested, nourishing, tasty family meal ideas that I hope people are going to love as much as we do.
There will be tips & ideas suitable for:
Pregnancy 4th Trimester Weaning
All are adaptable to be shared family meals – so you don’t need to cook more than one meal!
And plenty that are adaptable for plant-based and other diets.
